Another type of dragonfly is the skimmer.
Black saddlebags – male (Tramea lacerata)
I’m sure this is a black saddlebag, but I’m not sure which is the female and which is the male.
I’ll try to figure this out, and I’ve submitted some photos to Odonata Central.

I’m not sure whether this is a male or female.

Eight-spotted Skimmer (Libellula forensis)
This is the female.
Painted skimmer (Libellula semifasciata)
I don’t know if this is a male or female.
