Of course, these involve detecting insects, but I think of insect community science as those whose purpose is to conserve the native insects involved. The above projects document non-native insects for the purpose of conserving the native plants involved.
Another plant-related community science project is Project BudBurst, but that is actually a climate project, not purely a plant project.
In addition to submitting my observations, I contributed some photos to that app, so you may see my plants in the ID sections (such as this photo of bluebells in full flower!)
